I am a Senior Controls Engineer currently living in Munich, Germany. I obtained my Masters degree in controls engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle WA. I have eight years of work experience in programming machines for industry. Specifically, I worked at a 3D printer manufacturer - Essentium in Irvine, Los Angeles and an aerospace automation equipment manufacturer - Electroimpact in Mukilteo, Washington. I worked on both industrial high temp FDM 3D printers, as well as large scale 7 DOF Automated Fiber placement (AFP) machines. EXPERIENCE

6+ years of experience writing C#, C/C++ and Python for back end machine systems talking with Controlers, PLCs and other periphals.

Ladder Logic programming of PLCs for machine cells with hundreds of IO, including duel check saftey systems using light curtains, limit switches, interlocking gates and others.

PID tuning for linear and rotary motors including bode analysis and FFT analysis.

Kinematics for 7 DOF (XYZABC) motion, including machines with rotators.

Extensive metrology experience compensating large envalope machines.
